Drain the Swamp

Drain the Swamp

There is a saying that speaks to our frustrations with the problems of life. It goes like this: “We have come to assess the situation, formulate a plan of action, and carry out the solution; but when you are up to your belt loops in alligators, it’s hard to remember that you came there to drain the swamp.”

But the Bible reminds us how to stay focused on the problems of life when it says in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct your steps.” Let us trust God, the creator, and take courage to complete our tasks.
